The Diverse Book Awards Night

Bessie couldn't be happier to be third in the Reader's Choice Awards! Not only because it's an award voted for by readers, but she also gets to sit next to Captain Yaz, who is one of her most favourite friends.

The awards were held at Waterstones Piccadilly in London, which meant that Bessie got to stay up EXTRA LATE! And there was plenty of cake and flamingos in glasses. With so new people to meet the bees were really buzzing!

I managed to meet up with the brilliant Templar team that helped bring Bessie to life, as well as Alice my amazing agent and several of my fellow agent/ publisher authors. But most importantly I got to wear the posh bee frock!
